Twenty and Proud?

Hello guys!

It's been a century since the last time I updated this blog. Sorry for not updating in such a long period, it's not that I'm getting busy in my third year, I just feel uninspired and don't know what to write. But now I have a simple topic to write.

So what's the topic?

Uh, actually.. I had my 20th birthday on 9th September. (If you're still reading this, please stand up from your chair and give me a appreciation applause!)

Yeah. I've turned 20 and I don't want to hear any "tua" or similar words from you. It's kind of annoying even if I know that being a 20 years old is not old at all. Anyway, in case you didn't know, most Disney girls are turning insane once they reached their twenties. For example just look at Miley Cyrus or Britney Spears. Thank God I'm not a Disney girl (still have a chance to turn insane, though).

In Japan, you use 'hatachi' instead of 'ni juu sai' when saying someone is 20 years old. That's because 'hatachi' is the age when you become an adult in Japan. See? Being 20 years old, at least to some cultures, is that special. With this age, I can now attend certain concerts, go to certain places and drink some liquors (or do I have to be 21+? cmiiw). But I'm not interested in that certain concerts, places nor liquors. (If after reading the previous statement you're immediately judging me as a person with a very boring life, then I'm so sorry we cannot be friends.) The only thing that I'll encounter more often is this one word that has been bringing me to fear: RESPONSIBILITY.

I'm kinda allergic to it. But I'm fully aware that sooner or later I'll have to swallow a big load of it, whether I like it or not. I can't be a child or teen forever. This so-called responsibility comes in the form of final college assignments, job seeking, marriage, having child yadda yadda. I don't know, but thinking about it alone makes me want to cringe. Just.. Wish me a lot of luck, okay?

Now off to a lighter note. I would like to say thanks to my friends and family who has sent me lovely and funny birthday greetings :D I even received several drawings made by my friends for my birthday!

from Rizka Viramadhina aka Juki! The most accurate portrait, even to the bangs.

From Karina Riesling Zhang aka Ling! Most.. Handsome? XD

From Kathrinna Rakhmavika aka Nana! The cutest because of the cat ears yet the most inaccurate because my bangs doesn't split in half on a daily basis :P

From Dewi Septanty aka Dewi! The most heartwarming because I didn't expect her to draw me something and put an effort into it :)

Again, to those who has sent me greetings; THANK YOU VERY MUCH! Your greetings and prayers matter a lot to me!!!! I wish you guys all the good things as well :)

Speaking about twenty years old, even Kyary Pamyu Pamyu has a song to express how fun and important it is to be 'hatachi'.

P.S.: I'm still open to receive any (late) birthday presents. Feel free to give.

P.P.S.: If you're going to nagging me to treat you, refers to the P.S. and I'll consider it.
