Music After School II

Tadi pulang sekolah ada MAS (Music After School) lagi, yeah. Emang MAS tuh diadain tiap semester, alias dua kali setahun, lumayan lah buat penyegaran abis butek mikir hehehe. Kali ini diadain di tempat parkir nggak di lapangan dalem kayak MAS yang kemaren. Secara performa juga band-band yang tampil kali ini lebih oke daripada MAS yang kemaren, walau ada juga sih yang nggak.
MAS-nya dimulai pulang sekolah sekitar jam 2an. Band pertama yang gue tonton itu bandnya anak kelas 12, gatau apa namanya tapi gue kenal dua orang personilnya, nyanyiin theme songnya power ranger gitu haha ngerock men keren deh tapi. Mereka juga janjian pakae kaos beda warna ala power ranger gitu ckckck. Selain mereka, ada juga beberapa band yang gue suka. Band anak kelas 11 IPA 2 alias Sepeda contohnya, aduuuh pol deh, mereka bawain lagunya Kerispatih yang Cuma Manusia sama Gruvi yang Masih Mencintaimu. Terutama vokalnya, kereeen. Wajarlah kalo mereka menang juara 1 lomba band pas classmeet kemaren. Dari kelas 10 juga ada yang nggak kalah keren, nama bandnya Soul System, wah ngejazz banget deh, mereka bawain lagunya Tompi yang Menghujam Jantungku, enak cuuuy. Vokalnya udah pas musiknya juga udah bagus.
Yang bikin gue seneng, ternyata ada band anak kelas 12 namanya Be Right Back yang bawain lagu Mighty Love-nya Zeke and The Popo, aaaaaaaaa itu kan lagu kesukaan gue haha nggak nyangka bakal ada yang bawain hihi. Oh ya, abis Be Right Back tampil ada band temen gue anak kelas 12 tampil, nama bandnya Cock & Bowl (kata temen gue -- vokalisnya, nama terinspirasi dari MANGKOK MIE AYAM), mereka bawain Ride-nya The Vines sama Save Me-nya The S.I.G.I.T, tapi sayaaaaaaaang performance mereka kurang banget huhu padahal kan ini MAS terakhirnya mereka :(( Ada juga satu band yang freak abis dari kelas 10 hehe namanya band WC Mampet Lagi (nyeh ini dari namanya aja udah ketauan nggak beres wkwkwk soriiii), salah satu gitaris sama drummernya dari kelas gue. Pertama mereka bawain I Don't Love You-nya My Chemical Romance, lumayan lah ya, tapiiiiiiiii pas mereka masuk ke lagu kedua, gue agak merasa asing nih mereka mau bawain lagu apa deh? Dan pas vokalnya masuk gue pun baru ngeh mereka bawain lagu apa
You're my mate, and I'll be stand by you.................... Gyahahaha ternyata mereka bawain lagu gay itu! -_- Aduh cacat banget deh ahahahaha tapi berhasil bikin banyak orang ketawa termasuk gue yang ngakak liat gaya personilnya waktu bawain lagu itu haha.
Guest star juga ada, band sponsor namanya Shine, hmm bagus sih catchy & ngepop gitu, mereka bawain Dia-nya Maliq & D'Essentials sama Hanya Untukmu-nya RAN.
Sayangnya gue nggak nonton sampe abis sih, jam 4 gue balik padahal kelarnya jam 5 huhu. Katanya sih abis gue pulang ada band alumni juga tampil bawain lagu metal gitu dan pada moshing haha tapi kayaknya nggak seheboh moshing yang pas MAS kemaren, rusuh banget ckckck.
Intinya, MAS kali ini lebih oke daripada yang kemaren, kalo yang kemaren kan mulainya molor gitu terus band anak kelas 11nya banyak yang nggak bisa tampil gara-gara waktu, yang sekarang untungnya lancar-lancar aja hehe, good job deh buat semuanya! :D

Tergilaaaaaaa

Haha, kayaknya gue lagi kena demam Twentyfirst Night nih. Gimana yah, gue lagi suka bangetnget lagunya yang judulnya Tergila, sama lagunya yang jadi theme song radio Oz bulan ini; Let's Grow and Here We Go.

Awal gue tau ini band dari radio. Pas itu lagu Tergila lagi lumayan sering diputer, namanya juga first single. Tapi gue belom terlalu 'ngeh'. Sampe akhirnya gue denger ini lagu berkali-kali.. And well, I do like it. Sial pas Twentyfirst Night tampil di Live & Loud-nya Oz gue nggak dengerin, hu ;(

Tapi kalo dibilang suka banget sama ini band, nggak juga deh. Karena pas gue dengerin lagu-lagunya sekilas, yang paling enak ya palingan cuma Tergila doang sama theme songnya Oz yang emang keren. Yang lain palingan Lemme Rock You sama Mungkin (second singlenya nih) yang lumayan enak. Sisanya zz deh menurut gue, hehe piss.

Behind The Sea (PATD) Review

Repeatedly listening to Behind The Sea - Panic At The Disco aw aw Ryro's voice reminds me to The Beatles in modern form haha soft yet have its own character (very different to Brendon's). His voice maybe is the main attention of this song, especially when Brendon's voice start appearing and matched with Ryro's oh so harmonic, I love that part! But sorry to say that this song (just like most of PATD's song) is doesn't make sense.. I can't understand it, and so I can't derive the lyrics too. But overall, I guess this song is worth enough to listened, my second favorite tracks from Pretty.Odd after Green Gentlemen. And yeah maybe you wouldn't notice that this is one of PATD's song before you finally read its very-PATD-particular lyrics and hear Brendon's voice appearing at some parts of the song.
I think.. Ryro might contribute more of his voice into PATD's next album :3
This song is also very different from PATD's previous album's songs, which got more upbeat and more complicated. Most of the songs in Pretty.Odd are much simplier and catchy. They won't insert any electro sounds into their second album, but much to classic instruments to build up the main conception of the album.

Random and Funny Things

Ehem.. Lusa tanggal berapa yah? Uh.. Tanggal 9?? Sepertinya kok ada yang berulangtahun di tanggal itu, siapa yaa.. *ngarep, minta kado*

Oke oke, lupain aja itu. Besok hari Senin, artinya gue balik ke sekolah (baca: living hell), dan gue BELOM SAMA SEKALI nyicil pr sama tugas.. Padahal deadline udah deket. Ckckck -__-;
Oh yea, pemilihan ketua osis sekolah gue diundur, jadinya bukan hari Senin.. Terus kapan dong?? Tapi dari hasil chatting gue sama Kak Opan, kandidat ketua osis nomer urut 2, gue menemukan bahwa pemilihannya akan dilakukan di kelas. Di kelas? Iya. Waktu Kak Opan nulis gitu, gue langsung mangap.

Gue: Di kelas?? Milihnya di kelas??
Kak Opan: Iyaa, emang lo maunya dimana? Maunya di lapangan, terus dibikin kotak2 buat bilik pemilihnya, terus jari pake dicelup tinta, gitu?!
Gue: ..Iya, biar demokratis gitu
Kak Opan: Ya ampun, itu mah buat keren2an.. Udah kea pemilihan presiden aja!

Kira2 kea gitulah isi chatnya. Huhu. Tapi beneran loh, pas di Alpus, pemilihan ketua osisnya gitu. Persis deh kea pemilu. Sampe panitia2nya pun ada. Ckckck, kurang keren apa cobaaa (omongan anak yang nggak biasa di sekolah negri)

Dari ngomongin pemilihan ketua osis, kita ganti ngomongin lagu. Ada yang tau lagu Mama-nya My Chemical Romance? Lirik awalnya kalo ga salah gini:

Ada yang nonton Extravaganza malem minggu kemaren nggak? Kalo nonton, pasti liat dong pas video klip-nya Kangen Band yang DOY dipelesetin.. Masya Allah, gue ngakak ngeliatnya.. Apalagi pas Aming ama Sogi yang pake poni lempar pose sok keren gitu.. Sambil ketiup angin ceritanya.. Uh uh, beneran deh, rambutnya itu ga nahaaaan XD hmpfff
Terus terus, ada yang tau lagu Puspa-nya ST12? Cuma mau bilang, saya baru tau kalo lagu ini lagi ngetop loh di kalangan anak kelas XI di sekolah saya. Uhuhu.

Dari ngomongin kangen mama puspa eh lagu, pindah jadi soal pelesetan. Entah kenapa gue tiba2 jadi pengen cerita soal gue dulu sama si Cumi, yang hobinya maen pelesetan sampe mentok. Contohnya:
